Michael Loo is a Senior Financial Analyst at TTSG, where he applies cutting-edge theory and technology to develop tools and solve complex challenges. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics, a Master’s (with Merit) in Mathematical Finance, and is a CFA® charterholder. His typical day involves investigating new issues and collaborating with colleagues to find solutions. Michael finds satisfaction in seeing the positive outcomes of client strategies and quickly adapting to new solutions. Before joining TTSG, he worked as an electrical engineer with a passion for risk analysis, game theory, and computational physics.
Driven by values such as fairness, integrity, teamwork, ideation, and lifelong learning, Michael attributes his success to reliability and precise communication.

Outside of work, he unwinds through strategic games, rock climbing, music, and linguistic pursuits such as learning Mandarin, Japanese, Cantonese, and French. A Scrabble® champion who once represented Canada globally, Michael is inspired by the stories of TTSG's clients and aims to assist them in planning for what matters most.
